The soul is linked to the world through the body and it is linked to the divine or the unseen realm through the spirit.

The soul is purified or cleansed; sanctified; redeemed by The Truth - God’s incorruptible Word –

The soul is comforted and is anchored or secured; protected and finds hope and abiding rest in God’s covenant promises.

The soul is strengthened or encouraged; inspired; spurred; emboldened; stimulated; heartened by the ministry of God’s Word.

The soul is the seed of personality and consciousness. It is linked to the world through the body, and it is linked to the divine, the unseen realm through the spirit. Through the body, the soul hears Man, and through the spirit, the soul hears the Word of God - therefore the soul is the link between the Divine and the physical.
