An original print is an artwork created by the artist to be realized as an original work. The artwork is manually created – drawn, painted, carved, inked, or printed on a printing press by the artist. It is not a reproduction of an original. Each subsequent print is created by the artist hence its inimitable and stands to retain its value or even grow in value over time. However, this will be determined by the quality and number of editions created for the print.
