Photomontage is a term applied to a technique or practice of making a pictorial composition from select parts of different photographs. The resultant composition is what is called a photomontage. The practice of photomontage involves selecting the images, carefully cutting them out, manipulating them, sorting and arranging them before permanently affixing them on the ground of the artwork.
