Gouache
A heavy, opaque, water soluble paint that consists of natural pigment, water, a binding agent, and sometimes additional inert material. Also called body color, gouache produces a less wet-appearing and more strongly colored picture than ordinary watercolor and unlike watercolor, gouache is opaque so the white of the paper surface does not show through.
