Figurative
Figurative art describes any form of modern artwork that represents and retains very strong and discernible references to the real world, and particularly the form of a human, an animal or an object. The formal elements upon which figurative art is dependent include shape, color, volume, texture, line, mass, dark and light. These elements of design are deftly deployed to create an impression and an illusion of form and space, and to give emphasis in the narrative portrayed.
