Art Funds are privately offered investment funds that are primarily dedicated to the generation of returns through the acquisition and disposition of specialized works of art. Usually open to a limited range of investors that purchase, sell and promote the works of art under management, the Art fund is managed by a professional art investment management or advisory firm who receives a fee (for managing the fund) and an agreed portion of any positive returns delivered by the fund.
