An Art Critic is a person who describes, analyzes, interprets, evaluates, and expresses judgments of the merits, faults and value of artworks. Through his professional education and experience in a specific type of art, an art critic gives an informed opinion to the general public as well as art students, buyers, writers, and collectors that helps them to astutely perceive, eruditely interpret, and rightly judge works of art and/or specific works from a certain genre, art period and movement.
