Introduction
The root of every ill in the world is the dearth, the abuse, the misconception and the perversion of leadership. Every social malady, economic catastrophe, civil mayhem, political disenfranchisement and the bigotry rife on every continent is a testament to failed leadership.
Furthermore, at the core of religion, which is undoubtedly one of the worst evil known to Mankind, is keen evidence that the world is reeling from a severe lack of leadership. And while centuries of slavery and religion has made most people to believe and even accept that certain races are born to lead; erroneous preaching stemming from misconceptions of God’s original purpose for creating Mankind has led other ethnicities to believe that a life of servitude, seeking charity and imploring for fair treatments from a world system designed to privilege and benefit its creators and sustainers is their only portion in life.
In both cases, it is not necessarily racism driving the chasm as commonly declared. Rather, it is a palpable attestation that when the source of leadership is ignorance, Mankind becomes a diseased idiot whose only hope of exercising his innate desire to dominate and control his environment is through creating a system that undervalues the dignity and worth of his fellow Man.
The above is not to imply that racism does not exist or to extricate the notion that the oppressed, enslaved, colonized and exploited are simply victims of poor leadership, but to emphasize how these despicable evils, be it religion, racism, communism, colonialism and other ‘isms’ created by Man are clear symptoms of a much sinister hand at play. A hand which from the beginning, upon Man’s declaration of independence from His Maker, contaminated his faith, resulting in the loss of his true identity.
As we shall see in this book, “A true leader abides in his identity,” identity is not merely a mental comprehension of one’s pedigree or a pompous oration of his or her ancestral lineage. Furthermore, one’s identity does not come from his or her motherland, native land or country of origin. Oblivion to this truth grounds a person from discovering his intrinsic value and divine reason for existing, thereby rendering him a victim of his tradition and a casualty of his environment.
In fact, a Man’s authentic, incorruptible and complete identity is always buried under his culture, education, poor self-concept, oppression, bondage, ignorance, low self-esteem, tradition and religion. And of these, religion, due to its inseparable bonding to the spirit of fear, from whence it was birthed, is the chief cremator of Man’s identity. In his Kingdom Lexicon, Nya’s revelatory explanation of the life ravaging thread that binds religion and fear is as follows:
“Religion reduces a specie called Man, created in the exact image of God and endowed with dominion and authority, to a beggarly neurotic who, in his constant self-debased mien, which he ignorantly mistakes as divine humility, becomes increasingly filled with guilt. Smeared with an unmistakable stench of fear, life becomes a diurnal struggle in a tenebrous valley gorged with bitterness, offense, torment, sorrow, toiling and grief. Asphyxiating in his doleful state, he contemplates martyrdom and perennially cradles his starving spirit with mentally rehearsed soothing religious lullabies of a coming sweet bye and bye.”
This passage, originally written by the artist in 2005 as the précis for his work‚ “Spiritual Purifiers,” is replete with revelation knowledge. First, by identifying Man as a Spirit specie created in the exact image of God and endowed with dominion and authority, Nya’ reveals the authentic source of Man’s identity, his Creator, and his source of origin, Heaven. However, as alluded to by the callous materials employed in the distinct x-rays selected for the book, without a comprehension of his Source, Man is guaranteed to remain a bottom feeder who depreciates his value through selling his unique gift and talents at a bargain price to the systems of the world.
On the other hand, a Man who seeks, finds and obtains his true-identity from his Maker, as alluded to by the Word of God upon which the majority of the x-rays are established upon is guaranteed to discover his unique gift and purpose, find his work and ascend to his leadership position in the world system he was sent to lead and transform. Further, by explicating that God endowed Man with dominion and authority, the artist highlights the in-erasable truth which differentiates religion and God’s irrevocable will for his most prized creation, Mankind.
In essence, leadership was and will always be God’s original desire for Mankind. However, void of abiding in the revelation of his true identity in his Creator, everything that is available and accessible to him through the redemptive work of Christ cannot and will never work. This implies that all the seven glorious gifts of redemption, (power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing) remain a religious dogma void of manifestation.
In this book, “A true leader abides in his identity,” Nya’ explains how leader-ship in any Man’s field of calling and heir-ship as a son of God is impossible without a revelation of his true identity. He then defines a true leader as someone who dwells in the revelatory answers to five preeminent questions, which, in essence, are the subject of this book.
These questions, which he labels as the antidote to one of the greatest acts of violence a person can ever commit – and that is comparing himself to another human being - are also what renders any person immune to the ridicule, scorn and criticism of his fellow Man. In fact, Jesus, the servant Man and perfect image of God in human form satisfactorily answered these questions when He was here on earth; and consequently, the multifarious snares of the devil could not assault nor triumph over Him.
